The "integrated conflict management system (ICMS) focuses on the "front end" of dispute-prevention. Skills, structures and support are introduced with the goal of creating a culture of conflict competence, "where every employee can raise every concern with confidence, knowing that it will be respectfully received and responsibly dealt with." The reach of ICMS includes peer to peer conflicts, and how decisions are made and communicated.
