Settlement Writing for Workplace Mediators

This course is a hands-on course intended to stimulate a mediator's thinking and understanding of the settlement writing process. It focuses on the unique role that a mediator has in the process with strong doses of ethics and contract theory. Students actively participate in the fast moving discussion.

Participants: DON Certified Mediators and Tier IV trainees are strongly encouraged to attend this course. The course is open to mediators from other agencies on a space available basis, with endorsement by the student's agency Dispute Resolution Specialist. Limit of 25.

Advance Preparation: Some reading and preparation is involved prior to the day of the course.
