Be a proactive mediator:
Address implementation - before problems occur.

.

So often, mediators focus on the signatures on the settlement agreement. But, what happens when the parties walk out the door? Have they anticipated and thought through the problems that may arise when implementing the agreement? This interactive session will help mediators highlight and explore implementation issues, increasing the likelihood that the agreement will actually resolve the conflict

Presenter:  Linda Toyo Obayashi trains and mediates for a variety of federal agencies around the country, is a senior mediator consultant with the World Bank Group and maintains a private practice. Toyo is a council member for the ABA, Section of Dispute Resolution and was listed among Maryland’s Top 100 women.
John Settle is certified as a mediator and Mentor Mediator by the Supreme Court of Virginia, and he holds ACR's designation of "Advanced Workplace Mediator." He has mediated for many federal agencies, the EEOC, state agencies, and private firms. He is President of SETTLEment Associates LLC, and Of Counsel to the employment law firm of Riselli and Pressler."
